PINTURA, ilustración con más cache!!!

OLEO.

No sabía lo que era el pintar hasta que hace aproximadamente casi dos años cuando me encontraba más decaida de salud y con el dolor constante de mis manos por la artritis reumatoide, decidí empezar a pintar. Me comenzó a gustar esto de la pintura, pues a mi mamá yo le ayudaba a realizar algunos detalles en sus cuadros de oleo, fue un pasatiempo que a ella le relajaba después de la muerte de mi abuelita; es así como llego a esta forma de ilustración y también pensando en dos cosas, uno en adornar mi casa y dos relajarme de igual forma pues el pensar el dolor te hace tener más dolor!!! Bueno asi llegue a realizar varios cuadros, aun me faltan para terminar de decorar mi casa, pero me gustó de tal forma que mientras me recuperaba de la enfermedad pude practicar mi ilustración a través de la pintura.

OIL PAITING

My wife didn't know what was paiting until aproximately two years ago when she was down on her health and with constant pain on her hands due to reumathoid arthritis, she decided to start paiting. And she loved it, my mother-in-law paints too and she picked it up after the death of her mother, my wife's grandma, and it was a way to cope with her death and a way to help her relax, and my wife started helping her to make some details on the paintings. So this was how my wife got into this kind of illustration, also thinking in two things: one, on how to decorate the house, and two, to help her relax and keep her mind away from the pain, because thinking about the pain brings more pain in return!! So she came to create several paitings, and still there is a lot of wall space to add some more, but she loved it so much while she recuperated from the illness, and it was a way to practice illustrating through painting.

Estas manzanas fueron las primeras que hice, de hecho es un lienzo de 50cms por 2 mts, esta en el comedor de mi casa.

This apples paiting was the first one she did, in a 19"x78" canvas, and it was located in our dinning room.


Este segundo de las flores inspirado en la primera de las peliculas de campanita.

This second one with the flowers was inspired on the first "Tinkerbell" movie.

Cada uno de estos lienzos tuvo un objetivo y ahora son parte de mi galeria. Tomo las ideas de lo que veo, de las tendencias, de lo que me agrada para decorar mi casa y también aprovecho para perfeccionar de esta forma mi tecnica de ilustración. Tengo varios pendientes, pero ahi voy lo intercalo con mi trabajo digital y creo que me ha dado la facilidad y soltura en la mano.

Each of these paitings had an objective and how are part of my wife's gallery. She takes ideas from what she sees and from current fashion, from what she would like to have decorating our house and she uses oil paiting to practice and perfect her illustration techniques. She still has several paitings pending, but since she switches from digital work to hand made work, this fact has loosen her hand and made her a better artist.

Tarjetas de navidad.

ESPAÑOL: Compartimos por medio de este blog, las tarjetas de navidad que nos hicimos y donde aplicamos nuestra creatividad y todo nuestro amor de este 2010.

Esta ilustración fue hecha para mi esposo en donde hice los primeros trazos en lapiz y la composición fue meramente digital. Es algo bien sencillo pero al final además de imprimirla le hice algunos arreglitos en plumon, donde le escribí todos mis deseos y agradecimientos.
Tenemos como tradición familiar el regalarnos tarjetas de aniversrio, cumpleaños y navidad y muchas de éstas han sido muy creativas tanto que las utilizamos como parte de nuestro portafolio de trabajo, por eso esta vez quiero aprovechar este medio para poder mostrar eso, que solo nosotros intimamente vemos, pero que ahora me parece bueno mostrarlo a los demás.  Marisol Saenz Mtz

Esta es la ilustración que hizo mi esposo para mi tarjeta y para aprovechar a felicitar amigos en el facebook y me gustaría que él comentara al respecto de como la hizo....

Erick: Bueno esta ilustración sinceramente el fondo no es mio, lo encontré en internet y no habia nombre de artista de quien lo diseño asi que no podría darle credito, pero si saben quien lo hizo por favor diganmelo para hacerle su justa mencion. El Santa si lo hice yo, todo digitalmente y utilizando un estilo simple y sencillo que vi mucho durante la pasada FIL y aunque no es mi estilo de siempre si quiero practicar estilos y tecnicas nuevas que puedan gustar al mercado.


ENGLISH: We share through this blog, the Christmas cards we made and where we apply our creativity and all our love to this 2010. The illustration on top with the snowy cabin was made by my wife for me, where she did the first sketches in pencil and then the rest was completed digitally. It is something quite simple, and aside printing it in color she added some touches with color markers and she wrote all her wishes and thanks to me. We have a family tradition to give each other aniversary, bday, xmas or new years cards made my ourselves, some have been so creative or original that we use them as part of our work portfolio, but this time we wish to show this, something that sometimes we just see ourselves in the intimacy of our home, but now we think is good to share with the rest of the world.

The Sant card was made by me, Erick, truth to be told the background isn't mine, I found it on the web and there was no artist to give credit for, so if you do know the person who did the background I will appreciate if you can share so I can give him or her the credit. I did do the Santa, all digital and I wanted to do something quite basic and simple, to practice a style that I see that people was fond of during the International Book Fair in Guadalajara, it is not usually my style but I am eager to try new styles and techniques to comply with the market.
