No sabía lo que era el pintar hasta que hace aproximadamente casi dos años cuando me encontraba más decaida de salud y con el dolor constante de mis manos por la artritis reumatoide, decidí empezar a pintar. Me comenzó a gustar esto de la pintura, pues a mi mamá yo le ayudaba a realizar algunos detalles en sus cuadros de oleo, fue un pasatiempo que a ella le relajaba después de la muerte de mi abuelita; es así como llego a esta forma de ilustración y también pensando en dos cosas, uno en adornar mi casa y dos relajarme de igual forma pues el pensar el dolor te hace tener más dolor!!! Bueno asi llegue a realizar varios cuadros, aun me faltan para terminar de decorar mi casa, pero me gustó de tal forma que mientras me recuperaba de la enfermedad pude practicar mi ilustración a través de la pintura.
OIL PAITING
My wife didn't know what was paiting until aproximately two years ago when she was down on her health and with constant pain on her hands due to reumathoid arthritis, she decided to start paiting. And she loved it, my mother-in-law paints too and she picked it up after the death of her mother, my wife's grandma, and it was a way to cope with her death and a way to help her relax, and my wife started helping her to make some details on the paintings. So this was how my wife got into this kind of illustration, also thinking in two things: one, on how to decorate the house, and two, to help her relax and keep her mind away from the pain, because thinking about the pain brings more pain in return!! So she came to create several paitings, and still there is a lot of wall space to add some more, but she loved it so much while she recuperated from the illness, and it was a way to practice illustrating through painting.
This apples paiting was the first one she did, in a 19"x78" canvas, and it was located in our dinning room.

Cada uno de estos lienzos tuvo un objetivo y ahora son parte de mi galeria. Tomo las ideas de lo que veo, de las tendencias, de lo que me agrada para decorar mi casa y también aprovecho para perfeccionar de esta forma mi tecnica de ilustración. Tengo varios pendientes, pero ahi voy lo intercalo con mi trabajo digital y creo que me ha dado la facilidad y soltura en la mano.

Each of these paitings had an objective and how are part of my wife's gallery. She takes ideas from what she sees and from current fashion, from what she would like to have decorating our house and she uses oil paiting to practice and perfect her illustration techniques. She still has several paitings pending, but since she switches from digital work to hand made work, this fact has loosen her hand and made her a better artist.
